BHF is closing for a major refurbishment

Mon 11th February 2013

BHF closed its doors on Saturday while the makeover and structural work is carried out, and its grand reopening is due on Thursday, February 28.

While the shop is closed, locals are urged to continue donating goods for when the shop reopens. These can be taken to a new temporary unit, at 10 Clarance Road – opposite The Queens Public House.

Area manager Louise Harbour said: “We’re asking everyone in the local Grays community to have a clear-out and support the Grays BHF Shop while we’re closed for refurbishment. We’ll be having a grand reopening on February 28 at 11am and we’d like to invite everyone along, where lots of new stock will be on offer.

“If each household were willing to spend just half an hour having a clear out and donating to their local BHF Shop, they would be helping to save lives, it really is as simple as that. Please help us beat heart disease together this and donate your unwanted items to your local BHF shop.”
